MEET PASTOR ERIC
Pastor Eric was ordained into the LCMS ministry in 2017. He served at First Lutheran Church in Ventura, CA, first as a licensed Deacon and then as the Pastor from 2004 to 2022. His focus is now to provide pastoral care to the saints of Faith Lutheran Church in Carpinteria, CA in the hopes of growing the church in the wisdom and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Eric has a deep love for his people and believes in the transforming power of Jesus. He strives to bring a message of light and hope to a world that often feels dark and hopeless.

OUR LCMS VISION
We believe the Bible is the sole source of divine revelation and authority for faith and practice, and that salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by works. We believe that Baptism and the Lord's Supper are God's means of grace that are for spiritual life and growth. We adhere to the Lutheran Confessions as a faithful summary of Biblical teaching where we strive to make a clear distinction between God's law (commands) and the gospel (grace and forgiveness). We practice Christ-centered worship that is focused on the proclamation of Jesus and the sacraments, fostering a community of faith.
OUR COMMUNITY
After each Sunday service, you are invited to a social hour where there is plenty of food and great fellowship time. Here we get to know one another and share our lives in a relaxed social environment.
Faith Lutheran Church offers a continuing Bible study, gathering around God's Word on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 am. We are using the Life-Light series from Concordia Publishing House to guide us through both the Old and New Testaments. Come and enjoy the fellowship and growth that God has for those with seeking hearts.
Every few weeks we have special music by various soloists from around the county who help inspire and uplift our worship experience.
With a large pipe organ and grand piano, Faith Lutheran Church's congregation sings hymns to God's glory every week.
